Student Reduced Fare Bus Cards

Students can receive reduced fares with either a DDOT Student ID Card or a DDOT Student Fare Pass. To purchase the Student ID Card, students must bring: a current report card, a current school-issued Student ID, or a letter of enrollment on school letterhead to DDOT's Administrative Office or local Neighborhood City Hall. Student Fare Passes are available only at DDOT's Administrative Office.

Detroit Community Schools, a Public School Academy, announces open enrollment for all grades K-12 for the 2012-2013 school year beginning in September 2012.  Application forms are available online a www.detcomschools.org or by calling 313-537-3570.  Completed applications may be submitted at the school’s main office from 8:00 am through 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, April 16 – May 4, 2012, or mailed to:

If needed, an enrollment lottery will be held at the main office at 4:00 pm on Friday, May 11, for all open grade level slots.  Students not accepted through the lottery will be placed on a waiting list.  Please call 313-537-3570 with questions or if evening hours are needed to drop off your applications.
